Overview

This policy explains how the WicketGrid website and Android app handle information. The website provides information, guides and support for the app. It does not currently provide user accounts, accept form submissions or use analytics.

Website hosting

This website is hosted using Google Firebase Hosting. When you visit, Firebase Hosting processes your IP address to deliver the site, detect abuse and provide aggregated usage information. Google states that Firebase Hosting retains IP data for a few months. Learn more in Firebase’s privacy and security information.

Website cookies and advertising

The website does not currently display advertisements or intentionally set first-party cookies. If Google AdSense is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on a visitor’s previous visits to this or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve relevant ads.

Visitors can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. Where required, the website will also provide controls for consent and other privacy choices before advertising technologies are used. This policy will be updated if the website’s advertising services change.

Contact and external links

The website’s contact links open your email application. WicketGrid does not receive your email address or message unless you choose to send the email. If you contact us, the information you provide is used to respond to and manage your enquiry. Links to third-party websites are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.

App data stored on your device

The WicketGrid Android app stores the teams, players, matches, scorecards, tournaments and settings you create locally on your device. This information is used to provide the app’s scoring and record-keeping features. You can remove locally stored information through the app’s data controls or by uninstalling the app.

App backups and sharing

When you export or share a backup, the app creates a portable file containing your local app data. You decide where that file is saved or shared. System file selection and sharing services are controlled by your device and the destination app you choose. Keep backup files private and only restore files you trust.

Advertising in the Android app

The Android app uses Google Mobile Ads to display banner, interstitial, app-open and rewarded advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, approximate location, diagnostics and interaction information according to their policies and your device consent settings. You can learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and manage advertising choices in your device or Google settings.

Changes to this policy

This page may be updated when WicketGrid’s website, app or third-party services change. The “Last updated” date above shows when the latest revision was published.
